4. SMS and Text Messaging

4.1 SMS Alert Service

VisangCare provides an SMS alert notification service as part of our hotel safety platform. When a panic button is activated by a hotel staff member, SMS alerts are sent to designated phone numbers registered by the hotel administrator.

4.2 Types of Messages

We send the following types of SMS messages:

Emergency Alerts

Real-time notifications when a panic button is triggered, including event type, staff name, and location information.

Registration Confirmation

A one-time message confirming that your phone number has been registered to receive emergency alerts for a specific hotel.

4.3 Consent and Opt-In

Phone numbers are registered for SMS alerts by authorized hotel administrators through the VisangCare management portal. Upon registration, a confirmation SMS is sent to the registered number. By having your number registered, you consent to receive emergency alert messages from VisangCare.

4.4 Opt-Out and Removal

You may opt out of receiving SMS alerts at any time by contacting your hotel administrator and requesting removal from the alert recipient list. Hotel administrators can remove phone numbers through the VisangCare management portal at any time.

4.5 Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on emergency events. SMS alerts are only sent when a panic button is activated — there are no marketing or promotional messages. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. VisangCare does not charge for SMS messages.

4.6 SMS Data

Phone numbers registered for SMS alerts are stored securely and used solely for the purpose of delivering emergency notifications. We do not share, sell, or use these phone numbers for marketing purposes. Phone numbers can be viewed and managed only by authorized hotel administrators and VisangCare system administrators.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
